Dr. Kal

Dentist

Dr. Khaled Abdel-Gawad “Dr. Kal” Graduated from The Schulich School of Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario in 2010. He Joined the Canadian Armed forces in 2007 and practiced as a Dental officer for 7 years after graduating and worked at several Dental detachment clinics in different Military bases across Canada. Dr. Kal Focuses on General Dentistry and has passion for surgical extractions especially complicated wisdom teeth extraction under Moderation Conscious Sedation. He enjoys restorative dentistry like fillings, crowns and bridges. Dr. Kal is also a certified Invisalign and implant provider.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kal is avid weight lifter and can often be found at the gym after work. He enjoys traveling with friends and family, and always excited to explore different countries.

Dr. Ali

Dentist

Dr. Ali grew up in London. He went to University of Western Ontario for his undergraduate studies and graduated with an honours degree in immunology and microbiology in 1997. During his undergraduate studies he took part in a diabetes research project resulting in publication in a medical journal. He went on to study at the Schulich School of Dentistry, graduating in 2001. He was awarded top student in Endodontics (root canal therapy). After graduating, Dr. Ali began practicing at Southdale Dental Office, first as an associate and then as the practice owner. He joined Southdale because the previous owner was actually his dentist.

Dr. Ali enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but he particularly enjoys performing root canals to save patients’ teeth. He takes regular continuing education to keep his skills up to date, and he’s a member of the London District Dental Society, the London Dental Exchange Study Club, and the Ontario Dental Association. Outside the office, he loves to play indoor and outdoor soccer and spend time with his family.
